I finally decided on a New Year's resolution. Brace yourself, and please don't laugh. (. . .) I'm going to run a sprint-length triathlon. It's a 1/4 mile swim, a 12 mile bike ride, and a 3 mile run. I found a training program designed for people like me who have next to no athletic instincts, and over the course of 22 weeks, builds you up to the point where you could run a sprint triathlon. I bought new running shoes on Sunday (they're pink! aha!) and I need a new training swimsuit. I was going to start today, but after this recent development (see above, ahem) they told me to take it easy for the next 24 hours.
I want to create a separate journal to keep a training log in, but I have no ideas for a name. Any suggestions?
